Insha's Miraculous Healing Journey

In Baramulla, Kashmir, 4-year-old Insha (name changed)  fought a congenital heart defect with a spirit far larger than her tiny frame. “Baba, don’t worry,” she told her father, Ghulam, a daily wage laborer. “I will not die because I have to take care of you.

But her heart was failing. A critical third surgery was essential, yet hospitals turned her away, daunted by her fragility and age. Crushed by poverty and helplessness, her family’s hope was fading.

A ray of Hope

Then, Hope & Health stepped in. Seeing not just a case, but a courageous child and a devoted family, we provided holistic care. We partnered with Amrita Kochi Hospital, whose compassionate cardiac team embraced the high-risk challenge others refused. Hope & Health ensured travel, costs, and unwavering support.

Against the odds, the complex surgery succeeded! Through a slow recovery, Insha fought – true to her promise. Today, she runs, laughs, and learns in Baramulla, her once-struggling heart beating strong.

Hope - a healing force.

Insha’s miracle is woven from:

  • A child’s fierce love & resilience.
  • Parents’ unbreakable resolve.
  • Surgeons’ skill & courage.

Hope & Health’s belief that no child is too small or poor for a chance at life.

Her story shines in Kashmir’s valleys: When love, courage, and collective goodness unite, miracles happen, and hope becomes a healing force.
