45 days old baby Iyad Gorsi (name changed), belonging to a tribal underprivileged family from a far flung area of Anantnag was diagnosed with a complex congenital heart disease (TGA with VSD) at a tertiary care hospital in Srinagar few days back and needed an urgent surgical repair (ASO repair).
The baby was shifted to Amrita Hospital Delhi on priority basis where he got operated successfully and is being discharged in coming few days. It’s a single stage major cardiac surgical procedure , not needing further operations.
May Almighty give him and all our children long happy and healthy lives , as they are our future investment.
