Intraoperative TEE & Perioperative Management Workshop

Hope & Health conducted a successful, 5-day workshop on Introduction of Intra-operative  Trans esophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Perioperative Management in Cardiac Surgery at Paras Hospital Srinagar.

Members of cardiology, cardiac surgery, cardiac anesthesia and intensive care participated in the workshop.

Following objectives were achieved:

1. Six critical cardiac surgery patients were operated during the workshop.

2. Introduction to the basic TEE and their  clinical application was accomplished.

3. Hands on acquisition of basic TEE views by the attendees was achieved with high satisfaction rates.

4. Basic and advanced principles of perioperative management of critical cardiac patients  were discussed and applied in practice.

5. Team building approach to achieve high standards in healthcare delivery addressed and applied.

This workshop has introduced intraoperative TEE into cardiac surgery practice and application of some vital Perioperative management principles that make it safer and of high quality benefiting the patients at Paras Hospital Srinagar. 

We equally thank Paras Hospital management who provided us an opportunity to conduct this important  workshop.
