As part of our mission to share the knowledge in healthcare, Hope & Health is conducting a complimentary one day TRR Workshop.
TRR (Trauma Reception and Resuscitation) workshop (basic trauma course) encompasses steps and procedures dealing with the critically ill trauma patients with the first few minutes of their arrival to any health care facility. It focuses on protocol based team approach in trauma management. It’s a one day course mainly being imparted by simulation rather than didactic lectures.
It’s meant for all health care workers who work with trauma management (like doctors, paramedics, nurses etc.)
Target Audience: Doctors, pre hospital guys and para medics across the valley.
Max capacity of participants: 30 on first come first served basis
Post Workshop Update:
Hope & Health conducted Trauma Reception and Resuscitation Workshop at Skills and Training Centre, Dhobiwan, Tangmarg on 11th August 2023, in which around 20 doctors/paramedical staff participated.
The venue and refreshment were arranged by the directorate of health services Kashmir. We are thankful to them for their support.
The main speakers for the workshop were Dr. Shamim Bhat and Dr. Muzamil Masoodi.
The topics covered in this workshop are:
- Introduction of trauma unit
- Initial assessment of trauma unit
- Dealing with trauma patients in shock
- Airway TRR
- Breathing
- Circulation
Pre assessment and post assessment tests were also done before and after the completion of the workshop
